Moran Mazor (born May 17, 1991 ) is an Israeli pop singer .

Her parents immigrated to Israel from Georgia in the 1970s . Moran Mazor grew up in Cholon and has two younger brothers. She learned to play the piano from the age of four, and later also took singing lessons. She did her military service in the military band of the Israeli Air Force .

She gained fame in Israel in 2011 as the winner of the first season of the reality show " Eyal Golan ruft dich" (אייל גולן קורא לך) on the private broadcaster Music 24 . On March 7th, 2013 she won the Kdam 2013 , the Israeli preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 . With the ballad Rak bishvilo (German: "Only for him") composed by Han Harari and texted by Gal Sarig , she was able to prevail against nine competitors and was therefore allowed to represent Israel at the competition in Malmö . In the second semifinals she came in 14th out of 17 participants with 40 points and was therefore unable to qualify for the final.
