Eden (Israeli band)

Eden was an Israeli boy band that performed on May 29, 1999 with the song Yom Huledet (Happy Birthday) at the Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem . After Dana International's victory last year, the band was selected internally by the Israel Broadcasting Authority to represent Israel. Yom Huledet (Happy Birthday) achieved fifth place with 93 points in a field of 23 participants. Eden was founded in 1996 by brothers Eddie and Gabriel Butler, who are members of the African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem denomination. The band was completed by Rafael Dahan and Doron Oren . In 1997 they made their TV debut on the Amnon Levy TV show. In 2001 the band broke up. 2006 joined Eddie Butler again for Israel with the song Together We Are One on.
