Killiney Hill Obelisk

Killiney Hill ( Irish Cnoc Chill Iníon Léinín ) is a hill in Ireland in the south of Dublin with an altitude of around 170 meters. It forms the southern border of Dublin Bay. At the top of the hill is an obelisk that reads Last year being hard with the poor walks about these hills and these were erected by John Mapas, June 1742.

In good weather-West North can Killiney Hill from the view over Dublin, in the south the Wicklow Mountains to the east and south-east, the Irish Sea, in the south-east Bray and on a clear day you can in the east to Wales see .

Killiney Hill is located in Killiney Hill Park , which is open to the public and has several walkways and viewpoints, making it a popular destination for visitors and hikers.
