Kim Dong-hyun (also Kim Donghyun , Korean 김동현; born November 10, 1994 in Seoul ) is a South Korean table tennis player .
Career
Kim made his first international appearances at the World Youth Championships, where he won bronze with the team in 2010. In 2009 he took part in his first adult world championship , but was only used there in mixed.
He also played at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, where the Korean selection won silver. In 2012 he qualified for the Pro Tour Grand Finals and reached the semi-finals there together with Lee Jung-woo .
Because of strong South Korean competition, it was not seen more often again until 2015. In the same year he won the Hungarian Open in singles and doubles, reached the quarter-finals at the World Team Cup and qualified for the World Tour Grand Finals.
In 2018 he won a bronze medal with the team at the World Cup .
