The table tennis World Cup 2015 took place for the men in his 36th host from 16 to 18 October at the Swedish Halmstad and for the women in his 19th host from October 30-November 1 in Japan Sendai instead. Gold went to Ma Long and Liu Shiwen from China .

mode

20 athletes took part in each competition. The eight best-placed participants in the world rankings were automatically qualified for the main round, which was held in knockout mode, the remaining twelve participants were divided into four groups of three athletes each, two of which qualified for the main round. The semi-final losers played a game for third place. Each game was played in best-of-seven mode and thus consisted of four to seven sets.
