Anton Källberg (born August 17, 1997 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish table tennis player . He currently plays in the table tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) for Borussia Düsseldorf .

Sports career

Clubs in Sweden of the strong attacking player Källberg were clubs in Borlänge and Söderhamn . In 2014 he moved to the TTC Ruhrstadt Herne in the second Bundesliga, but trained in the table tennis center of the TTF Ochsenhausen .

At the 2014 European Youth Championships he won singles, doubles and bronze with the Swedish team. In July 2015 he was European Youth Champion in Bratislava, in September he moved up to the top 100 in the world rankings for the first time and reached 54th place at the end of the year. At the beginning of the 2015/2016 season he joined the TTC Hagen . With a league record of 12:14, he was the club's best player, finishing 9th at the end of the season. For the 2016/2017 season , Källberg signed a contract with Borussia Düsseldorf, for which he achieved one of the best results in the league with a score of 10: 3 (also 2: 0 in the playoffs and 5: 3 in the Champions League) . In 2017 he became the Swedish individual champion.

Anton Källberg comes from a table tennis family. Both parents are active, his younger sister Christina is considered a great talent in Sweden.
