Kim Kim Gallery is a contemporary art gallery established in Glasgow , Scotland.

History, activities, artists involved

The Kim Kim Gallery was brought to life in 2008 through an exhibition of the same name at the Market Gallery in Glasgow , Scotland. It is directed by Gregory Maass & Nayoungim , a German-Korean artist duo. The gallery describes itself as a non-profit company and a local work of art.

Their largest project to date is called "Douglasism Festival 2013", a festival about the work of the British artist Douglas Park , which took place in Seoul in autumn 2013. The gallery was represented with the project 'Douglasism' at the international art fair Art: Gwangju: 12 in South Korea. In 2012, KKG was commissioned as an exhibition designer for the Daegu Photo Biennial special exhibition.

Artists who work with the gallery include Klaus Weber, Sophie von Hellermann , Geert Goiris, Stefan Ettlinger , Jeff Gabel , Douglas Park, Chung Seoyoung, Nakhee Sung, Nakyoung Sung, Robert Estermann , Nicolai Seyfarth and Ingo Baumgarten.

The exhibition "Apple vs. Banana" was voted one of the best exhibitions of 2011 by Art in Culture Magazine.
