Kin Sekihan
Kin Sekihan ( Japanese 金 石 範 , Korean Hangeul : 김석범 , McCune-Reischauer : Kim Sŏkpŏm (Japanese Kimu Sokupomu ), revised : Kim Seok-beom (Japanese Kimu Sokubomu );) (born October 2, 1925 in Ōsaka ) is a Japanese writer of Korean origin ( Zainichi ).
Kin was descended from immigrants from the Korean island of Jejudo . He studied literature at Kyōto University . His best-known work is the seven-volume novel Kazantō (Volcanic Island), for which he was awarded the Osaragi Jirō Prize in 1984.
