KinderMAX is a Swiss children's magazine for children aged 6 to 12 years.

history

KinderMAX was launched as a yearbook on April 1, 2003 and is constantly being further developed due to the excellent market response. In the years 2004 up to and including 2006 three issues were published annually, since 2007 there have been nine issues per year - three magazines with 84 pages (circulation 10,000 copies) and six special issues with 32 pages (circulation 25,000 copies). KinderMAX is available by subscription, but also at kiosks in German-speaking Switzerland and through direct sales by affiliated partners.

Max

The title character of every issue of KinderMAX is MAX , an upbeat boy who asks little readers in the editorial to accompany him on his latest adventures. In addition, Max slips into different roles again and again. In addition to these adventure stories, “The magazine for clever kids from 6 to 12” offers many puzzle pages, coloring pages and special features such as comics , handicraft tips, experiments and an English section.

particularities

One of the special features of KinderMAX is its interactivity : the children are encouraged to participate. In addition to a large number of tricky competitions, each issue also contains a “hands-on page” on which letters , drawings and jokes are published. In addition, NORA answers the children’s questions in the “Question and Sörgeli Box” and gives advice on small and large concerns in their everyday lives.

The excellent market response of KinderMAX is also due to the fact that, unlike other publications offered in this segment in Switzerland , the magazine is specially produced for the needs of Swiss children: the publisher , editorial staff , graphics and printing are all in Switzerland .

KinderMAX on the go

Twice a year - on May 1st and November 1st - the KinderMAX appears on the move in direct sales by the affiliated partners and has a circulation of 100,000 copies. MAX presents selected excursion destinations in Switzerland and southern Germany - for example Europa-Park in Rust, Zurich Zoo , Jungfrau Railways , the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne and the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.

Special editions

Under the KinderMAX label, there are also specifically themed and designed special editions for national institutions such as the Swiss Olympic Association or Swiss Snowsports as well as for nationally and internationally operating companies.
