Da Kinderhaus Flechtinger Straße is a listed children's facility in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the Beimsiedlung in Magdeburg's Stadtfeld West district at Flechtinger Straße 22a and forms an urban planning vanishing point in the axis of the green corridor that runs through the center of the estate.
Architecture and history
The building was erected in 1931 as a children's playground. The design came from the construction department of the Magdeburg Association for Small Housing. It belongs to a building complex of administration and social buildings of the then newly built Beimsiedlung.
The building consists of four one to two-story wings. The wings are each covered with a flat roof and designed in a functional, modern style. The playground belonging to the house is designed almost square. The kindergarten building, flanked by ancillary rooms, has a central one and a half story hall. There is a covered veranda to the west . The wide cantilevered porch roof rests on a row of round pillars. The windows are arranged like a ribbon.
The small building, which is an important urban development point in the green corridor, is an example of modern architecture in the Weimar Republic .
Today (as of 2016) the facility is operated by the St. Johannis Evangelical Youth Welfare Foundation .
The building is listed as a kindergarten in the local monument register under registration number 094 71438.
