Children's network

The children's network e. V. with its headquarters and office in Aschaffenburg was founded in 1992 with the aim of providing children and young people and their families with rare chronic diseases and disabilities with competent information and qualified help. The chairman is Hubertus von Voss . Numerous self-help groups are represented as active members in the association, who use the nationwide unique database of the non-profit organization and continuously develop it.

The children's network provides a database of self-help groups and offers a platform for political discussions among those affected and their families. It is funded by the Federal Association of Company Health Insurance Funds , Health Insurance Funds , Substitute Funds and their associations, by the Federal Center for Health Education and by pharmaceutical and other companies.

In March 2018, a package of actions was issued as the “Berlin Appeal”.
