King is a municipality in the York region north of Toronto , Canada with 24,512 inhabitants (2016).

The boundaries of the community are

  • East: Bathurst Street
  • South: Line north of King-Vaughan Road
  • West: the Caledon / King Townline, two streets (Caledon / King Townline North and Caledon / King Townline South)
  • North: Highway 9 from the Caledon / King Townline to a little east of Highway 27

Most of King is located on the Oak Ridges Moraine, which is the source of the headwaters of many rivers in their entirety, including the Humber River in King. There are numerous interconnected provincial and regional areas in the municipality.
