King George V Gardens

King George V Gardens is a public park in Castries , St. Lucia .

The park is located on the northeast edge of the city center, just a few meters east of Castries Market . It is bordered by Darling Road in the west and Calvary Road in the north and east, and Pansee Road , an entrance to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in the south.

The park is decorated with a statue in honor of Charles Eugene de La Croix, Marquis de Castries , after whom Castries is named. The park is named after King George V (1865–1936).
