King and Kong

King and Kong (French: Les Jungles perdues ) is a Franco-Belgian comic series by Raoul Cauvin (scenario) and Mazel (drawings). The series first appeared in Spirou magazine's issue 1965 . There the series was called Boulouboum et Guiliguili .

'King and Kong' is about a little boy without parents named King and his gorilla Kong. Harry and Joe, two poachers , want to kill the animals on the reservation in central Africa where King and Kong live. King and Konk try to stop the poachers.

Volumes

The series appeared as 'Rambo and Zambo' in 'Fix & Foxi' from 1986 to 1989. In addition to the ten adventures published in album form in France, an eleventh album-long story called "The stone Kazike" ("L'espace sidérant") was published, which remained unpublished in the country of origin for a long time and only found its way into Spirou magazine in February 2008.

From 1989 the first six stories appeared in album form on comicplus + . The original was published by the Dupuis publishing house . A complete edition was published by Finix Comics in 2016 , which also contains the short stories.
