Kinga Baranowska (born November 17, 1975 ) is a Polish extreme mountaineer . By July 2015 she had climbed nine of the 14 eight-thousanders .

In 2003 she reached her first summit over 8000  m with the Cho Oyu . Three years later she was able to climb another eight-thousander, Broad Peak . In 2007 she first stood on the summit of Mount McKinley before she could climb Nanga Parbat . The following year she reached the summit of Dhaulagiri and Manaslu . In 2009 the ascent of the Kangchenjunga followed . She dedicated this success to Wanda Rutkiewicz, who disappeared on the Kangchenjunga . This means that all eight-thousanders have been climbed by Polish women.

After trying Shisha Pangma in autumn 2009, she climbed Annapurna in April 2010 . As the eighth eight-thousander she was able to climb Lhotse in May 2012 , and in July 2015 she reached the summit of Gasherbrum II .
