Kingerby Hall

Kingerby Castle is an abandoned castle in the small settlement of Kingerby , about 8 km northwest of Market Rasen in the English county of Lincolnshire .

It was a moth that probably originated in the 12th century, but was burned down again in 1216. The mound of the old castle then formed the platform for the construction of a manor house . In 1812 this house was demolished and replaced by Kingerby Hall , a country house .
