Kipleigh Brown

Kipleigh Brown (born in Chicago , Illinois in the 20th century ) is an American actress and comedian . In 2008 she won on the ShockerFest the Fantasy Genre Award for Best Actress for her role in science fiction - noir film Yesterday Was a Lie .

Life

Brown studied at The Second City , the Steppenwolf Theater, and the Illinois School for the Arts . She starred in a number of plays around Chicago. She is also known for her appearances in the sketch comedy show Top Story! Weekly at the IO West Theater in Los Angeles .

In 2002 she played her first film role as Heather in Davidson Cole's Design . She had other film appearances as Doris in the comedy Living with Uncle Ray (2006), as Hoyle in James Kerwin's Yesterday Was a Lie from 2008, for which she received a nomination for best actress for the Fantasy Genre Award of the ShockerFest and in the same year as Abigail Mayflower in Greg Shouse's 2009 comedy Low Rollers . She also had guest appearances in various television series, such as Star Trek: Enterprise (2004). Since 2014, she has played Smith in the Star Trek Continues fan series .

Her sister Alisa Steady is an artist and illustrator .
