Tilting chassis

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A tilting chassis or tilting erection chassis is a special structure for trucks with which a 20- to 40-foot container for loading bulk goods , such as shredded metal scrap, can be tilted vertically upwards with the help of hydraulic cylinders and placed on a face on the ground. When the container is lowered, the load is distributed so that the container can be fully utilized in terms of weight and volume. Load securing is not necessary.
