Kira Carstensen
Kira Carstensen is a film producer who was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Documentary Short at the 2012 Academy Awards for the production of The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom, along with director Lucy Walker . Carstensen and Walker were nominated for two News & Documentary Emmy Awards for this film together with Tim Case and Charles Salice in 2012 . Carstensen's career began in 1995 as an associate producer on the television series Favorite Deadly Sins . Since 2011 she has been producing documentary short films exclusively.
