Mausoleum of the von Borcke in Auerose

The Auerose Church is a church building in the Auerose district of the Neu Kosenow community .

The church was first mentioned in a document in the church records of Kagendorf in 1572; Nothing is known about the year of construction. The plastered field stone building received a half-timbered western church tower in 1670 . The tower flag shows the year 1774 - it is probably the year of a comprehensive renovation. The pulpit altar and the box stalls date from the period after 1750. In 1974 the desolate pulpit was removed and the chancel was divided to accommodate a winter church.

In 1993 a newly cast bell was installed in the tower after the historic bell of the Ducherow carillon, installed after 1945, with the inscription "CF Rochlitz Turmuhrenfabrik Berlin 1914" cracked.

To the east of the church, Barnim Bogislav von Borcke- Auerose had a mausoleum built over the crypts of his ancestors in 1898 as a late Classicist rectangular plastered building with a temple-like entrance front.
