The Church B (Pol. Kościół B ) was a pre-Romanesque church in the Krakow's Wawel .

history

The church was built around 1000 and was one of the numerous sacred buildings on the Wawel. The building was a rotunda with two apses . Currently, the kitchens of the Royal Castle are located on the territory of the church. It is not known to whom the church was dedicated. In the church there is a burial place of an unidentifiable woman from the 11th or 12th century. Under unknown circumstances, the church was probably destroyed in the 13th century and later built over. It was found during archaeological investigations of the royal castle in 1966.
