The Church of St. Basil of Ostrog. ( Serbian : Црква Светог Василија Острошког, Crkva Svetog Vasilije Ostroškog) is a Serbian Orthodox Church , in the Opština Stara Pazova belonging village Novi Banovci in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina .

The Church of St. Vasilije Ostroški is the parish church of the Novi Banovci I and II parishes in the Stara Pazova deanery of the Srem eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church. It is dedicated to Saint Vasilije Ostroški the Miracle Worker, one of the greatest and most venerated saints of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

The church building is located in the center of the village of Novi Banovci, where around 9,400 people live. The church is located on Školska ulica street . Not far from the church is Proleterska Ulica . The Nikola Tesla primary school and the village hospital are located near the church .

The Church of St. Basil of Ostrog is a church in the Serbian-Byzantine style . With the blessing of the Bishop of the Eparchy Srem, Vasilije ( Vadić ), the parish and parish in Novi Banovci was founded in 1991.

The foundations of the church were blessed in 1992 by Bishop Vasilije ( Vadić ), with whom the construction of the church began. Thanks to the generous donations of the residents of Novi Banovci, the outside of the church has been completed and the frescoes are currently being painted inside .

The priest of the parish of Novi Banovci I is Branislav Džombić and Aleksandar Klasnetić is the priest of the parish of Novi Banovci II. The now retired Archpriest Simo Višekruna was also a priest in the parishes.
