Church of Divine Providence Utena ( lit.Utenos Dievo Apvaizdos bažnyčia ) is the second parish church in Utena , in the deanery of Utena , Diocese of Panevėžys , Lithuania . It's made of brick . The address is Aušros g. 78 , LT-28150.
history
The building permit was issued on June 11, 2004, and the foundation stone was laid and consecrated on June 27. The four bells were consecrated on September 19th . The church was consecrated on March 19, 2005 during the St. Joseph fair. Architects from Vilnius were responsible for the project: Ričardas Krištapavičius and Mindaugas Jamantas. Construction work was carried out by UAB “Dailista” from Kupiškis . The main patron was the Lithuanian trading group UAB " VP Market ".
