Råda Church

The Church of Råda ( Råda kyrka ) is located about four kilometers west of the Swedish city of Lidköping .

The church, which originally dates from the twelfth century, was rebuilt and expanded in the 13th and 15th centuries. The tower, the sacristy and the entrance date from the 15th century, when the flat wooden ceiling was replaced by today's vaults . The ceiling paintings were made in 1632.

On the outside of the church you can clearly see an old, walled rune stone .
