The Church of Lindärva situated about ten kilometers south of the Swedish city of Lidköping .

The 12th century church with its tower, nave and rectangular choir has largely retained its Romanesque appearance. The interior of the church was changed in the 15th century when the ceiling was replaced by a cross-arched vault and painted by the church painter Master Amund . The ceiling paintings were whitewashed after the Reformation , but during the restoration in 1916 they were taken out again as far as possible.
