Building

Stable building belonging to the ensemble

The former church and school building is a single-storey structure made of red bricks and unplastered. The most conspicuous component in the front is a dwelling with a decorative gable with three gables . A metal cross sits enthroned on the top battlement. The windows on the ground floor and the entrance have segmental arches . In front of the front entrance there is a four-step flight of stairs with a brick railing. The front of the dwelling is separated by a cornice with consoles . This cornice continues directly as an eaves cornice with consoles. In the dormer window there are two small arched windows and above them a clock with a metal dial . This clock was incorporated into a profiled round opening. There is another small window above the clock, an ox-eye .

The gable dormer has the same consoles as further details that have already been described under the cornice and eaves of the front. In this case, these consoles can also be found below the eaves of the dormer window and are continued continuously in a gable cornice. There are also pilaster strips over the corners , which continue upwards in gabled stairs. The gable stairs and the gable tread also show consoles already described. On the gable side of the house there are also unadorned segmented arched windows. To the south on the top floor, three to the north on the ground floor and three on the top floor. The gables there also have the gable cornice described for the gable dormer. The eaves of the front and the back of the house taper off after a short distance. On the back of the house there is a second access to the house via a small flight of stairs and three segmented arched windows on the ground floor.

The ensemble also includes a small stable building built from the same red clinicians, southeast of the church and school building. It has the same cornice as the main house. A large wooden, double-leaf barn door with segmented arches faces west to Geschwister-Scholl-Strasse. The window openings are small and also segment-arched. In addition, there are several brick ventilation openings in the masonry in the form of rhombuses standing on top.
