The ruined church of Hallsjö is a ruined church near Hallsjö in the Swedish municipality of Ljungby .

The church was built in the late Middle Ages as a stone hall church on a rectangular floor plan. Possibly it replaced a previously existing wooden church. The masonry consisted of rough, split stones. Hewn stones were used for the corners and the door frames. A brick armory was built in front of the south entrance.

In 1873 an image of the Virgin Mary made of copper and covered with gold and enamel was found, which is said to come from the 12th century and possibly part of a crucifix used for processions . In 1966 the walls of the ruin were secured. Today there are wooden benches and a wooden cross in the area of the nave.

No images or other records of the original interior design of the church are known. A baptismal font that was previously in Hallsjö Church and a bell are now in Dörap Church .

To the south of the church are the grave fields of Hallsjö .
