Kirsten Hastrup

Kirsten Blinkenberg Hastrup (born February 20, 1948 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish anthropologist and Scandinavian .

Life

Hastrup made a master's degree in anthropology from the University of Copenhagen in 1973, with minor subjects in sociology and archeology. Dr. phil. she was at Oxford University in 1980 and received her Dr.scient.soc. graduated from Hastrup University of Copenhagen in 1990. She is Professor at the University of Copenhagen and President of the Danish Academy of Sciences . She is an external member of the Norwegian Academy of Sciences .
