Kiyokazu Kudō ( Japanese 久 藤 清 一 , Kudō Kiyokazu ; born June 21, 1974 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Kudo learned to play soccer on the school team at Chikuyo Gakuen High School . He signed his first contract in 1993 with Yamaha Motors (today: Júbilo Iwata). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1993 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1997 . In 1998 he won the J.League Cup with the club . In September 1998 he was loaned to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . In 1999 he returned to Júbilo Iwata . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1999. For the club, he completed 85 first division games. In May 2000 he moved to league rivals Cerezo Osaka . In 2001 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . At the end of the 2001 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2002 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and was promoted to the J1 League. In 2003 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup. For the club he completed 136 games. In 2006 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka. At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 172 games. At the end of 2010 he ended his career as a football player.
