Career

Moen made his international debut as part of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in the 1993/94 season . In his first season he already collected 89 Continental Cup points and thus landed 84th overall. In the following season 1994/95 he was able to improve significantly. With a total of 559 points, he was eighth in the top ten of the Continental Cup. Then he got at the beginning of the 1995/96 season on December 3, 1995 in Lillehammer a starting place in the ski jumping World Cup . As the 35th, he narrowly missed a point placement and stayed in the Continental Cup. In this he reached 38th place overall with 208 points for the entire 1995/96 season .

After he reached 22nd place with 49 points at the Ski Jumping Grand Prix 1996 in the summer , he was able to work for a starting place in the two competitions in the World Cup in Lillehammer at the beginning of the 1996/1997 season . However, he was 33rd and 41st again behind the points.

As a result, Moen was no longer able to build on his successes and ended his active ski jumping career after the 2000/01 season after five years in which he could not jump under the top 100 in the overall ranking in the Continental Cup .
