The kkStB 42 / S.0 was a narrow gauge - EMUs series of Imperial Austrian State Railways kkStB.
The two vehicles were built in 1910 by AEG in Vienna (electrical equipment) and by the Grazer Waggonfabrik for goods traffic on the meter-gauge local Trento – Malè railway. They were operated with 750 volts DC and had a driver and two freight compartments.
The vehicles remained on their original route even after the First World War , ie they came to the FS after 1918 . In 1936 the private company Società Autonoma Transporti Pubblici (SATP) was founded, which took over the railway and with it the vehicles.
In the 1960s, the line was converted to 3 kV DC voltage, which led to the railcars being retired in 1964.
