Eve tells him that her mother needs intensive care, which costs over $ 120,000 a year. This money can only be raised by the wealthy husband, from whom she cannot divorce.
Eve gives Michael an expensive shirt. He and you start an affair. One day Michael falls asleep for several hours and leaves the shading off. Eve later tells her lover that there had been an argument with her husband and a scuffle. The man pulled a gun that Eve shot him with. Nash is against Eve facing the police; he fears that the events will be perceived as murder. He is fabricating a robbery in the Dodds' house.
Nash tells the police he was shadowing Eve at the time of the crime and provides her with an alibi. The police believe he is blackmailing Eve and her lover - the real culprit. The police found a video tape from a surveillance camera in a wine shop far away from the crime scene. Nash is arrested. Katie Johnson testifies that at the time of the crime she saw Nash sleeping in his apartment - to which she has keys.
It turns out that Eve had another lover who murdered Zachariah Dodd. You and the real culprit are arrested. Nash returns to his apartment, where he finds the keys Katie left behind.
Reviews
Diane Selkirk wrote in the Apollo Guide that the thriller was one of those films with a “mediocre” script and “inadequate” presentations that one regrets watching. Although the film does not contain any particularly gross errors, it never exceeds the level of mediocrity. The film could have been a good one if more attention was paid to the details.
"A crime thriller based on familiar patterns that has nothing particularly new to offer, but is good for a few surprises in the second part."
