Nikita Klæstrup

Nikita Klæstrup (born November 8, 1994 in Guldborgsund Municipality ) is a Danish model and member of the Liberal Alliance party .

Career

Klæstrup is currently studying rhetoric at the University of Copenhagen . She has been working as a photo model or topless model for several years. Until 2015 she was a member of the youth organization of the Conservative People's Party , where she was chairman of the local group Lolland-Falster. In 2013 she ran in the local elections for the council of Guldborgsund Municipality, but was not elected. After the 2015 Folketing election, Klæstrup switched to the Liberal Alliance.

In the course of the local elections in 2013, it gained nationwide notoriety due to a wide reception in the Danish tabloid press . The unusual combination of her work in politics and as a model created a special media reception. The newspaper Ekstra Bladet named her election babe of the year. In 2015 she once again attracted attention when she appeared at a party to mark the 110th anniversary of the youth organization of the Conservative People's Party in an unusually tailored dress with a very revealing cleavage .

Klæstrup's frank demeanor sparked some criticism. In addition, she was accused of not standing for political content, but merely engaging in showmanship. A table neighbor even said that Nikita consists only of breasts, not politics. Klæstrup replied to this criticism that she, Klæstrup, represented the final stage of feminism , in which every woman could do whatever she wanted.
