from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Klaus-Gundelach-Fonds eV is the sponsoring association of the German Forest Youth . The association was founded in 1994 at Ludwigstein Castle . It is named after the nature conservationist and founder of the German Forest Youth Klaus Gundelach (1905–1989).

Conception

The Klaus Gundelach Fund was set up because the nature conservation work of the German Forest Youth was increasingly impaired by declining public grants.

The Klaus Gundelach Fund has therefore set itself the task

  • To support the activities of the German Forest Youth
  • To organize and implement measures for the German Forest Youth
  • to win natural and legal persons in public life to support the German Forest Youth
  • To publish, acquire and provide literature and other work materials.

According to the will of the founders, the Klaus Gundelach Fund is to use the funds available to it to support the work of the German Forest Youth. The association is recognized as a non-profit organization.

On the occasion of his 75th birthday, the songwriter Erik Martin (Mac) transferred the rights to use his songs to the Friends of the German Forest Youth. The usage rights are now with the Klaus Gundelach Fund and are exercised by the latter.
