Klaus-Peter Hellriegel

Klaus-Peter Hellriegel (born July 5, 1939 in Lörrach ) is a German internist and oncologist .

After completing his doctorate and habilitation, he was a private lecturer and later an adjunct professor at the University of Cologne . He switched to the Free University of Berlin as an adjunct professor . Until the closure in 2001 he was chief physician in the internal department of the Berlin-Moabit hospital . He was then director of the Clinic for Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology at the Vivantes Clinic in Friedrichshain .

From 1987 to 2005 he was chairman of the Berlin Cancer Society.
