Klaus-Peter Martens

Klaus-Peter Martens (* 1941 ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

He studied Hamburg and Freiburg im Breisgau . From 1968 to 1975 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Labor and Business Law at the University of Cologne. After receiving his doctorate in 1969 and habilitation in 1975, he represented professorships in Münster , Hamburg and Giessen from 1976 to 1978 . From 1978 to 2006 he was professor for civil law, labor and commercial law at the University of Hamburg . From 1981 to 1995 he was a judge at the Hanseatic OLG .
