Klaus Birk

Klaus Birk (born 1955 in Nagold ) is a German actor and cabaret artist.

Career

He studied law for ten semesters at the University of Tübingen and founded the Duo Vis a Vis together with Bernd Kohlhepp in 1982 , with whom he toured the Federal Republic of Germany for ten years and also gave guest performances in Switzerland, Austria and the USSR . They appeared in over 50 TV programs and wrote three stage programs together.

Birk has been on the road as a soloist since 1992; from 1998 to 2005 he also worked in the duo Helmuts Kurt with Udo Zepezauer . He has been writing for radio, TV, film and newspapers since the late 1980s, he also moderates, conducts discussions, coaches and works as a director in the fields of cabaret, comedy and popular theater. He has appeared as a soloist in more than 250 TV shows.

So far, Birk has recorded more than 1,000 self-written scenes for the radio. He writes weekly columns for newspapers, has been an author for Hannes and the mayor for seventeen years and has staged more than 20 solo programs to date.

In 2012 he played his microcosm every week at the state horticultural show in Nagold in front of a total of more than 30,000 visitors.

Klaus Birk lives in Tübingen , is married and has two sons and a daughter.
