Klaus Douglass

Klaus Douglass (* 1958 in Lausanne , Switzerland ) is a German writer and theologian.

Life

Douglass was born in Switzerland, but has German citizenship. He studied theology and philosophy and was parish priest in Niederhöchstadt near Frankfurt from 1989 to 2009 . Since 2010 he has been working as a theological consultant in the Annunciation Center of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau in Frankfurt am Main. From March 2020 he will head the Evangelical Office for Missionary Church Development and Diaconal Profile Building in Berlin, a joint office of the EKD, Diakonia and missionary services. He is the author of several books and is known for his lively seminars in Germany, Austria, Hungary and Switzerland. For some years now, Douglass has also been working as a personality trainer in the secular field. He lives with his wife Kathrin Douglass and their two sons in Eltville on the Rhine. Douglass has two grown daughters from his first marriage.
