Klaus Feldmann (sociologist)
Klaus Feldmann (born May 7, 1939 in Vienna ) is an Austrian sociologist, thanatologist and educational scientist.
academic career
After graduating from high school in 1957, Klaus Feldmann studied economics at the University of World Trade in Vienna (first state examination) and then philosophy, education and psychology at the University of Vienna. After completing his studies, he studied postgraduate sociology and statistics at the Institute for Advanced Studies and Scientific Research in Vienna. From 1969 to 1980 he worked first as an assistant and from 1971 as a university lecturer in sociology at the Lower Saxony University of Education, Hanover Department. From 1980 to 2004 he worked as a professor of sociology at the University of Hanover. He is currently teaching and researching at the Department of Education at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
