Mark Bernes Naumowitsch ( Russian Марк Наумович Бернес ; born September 25 . Jul / 8. October  1911 greg. In Nizhyn , Russian Empire as Mark Naumowitsch Neiman ; † 16th August 1969 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) was a Soviet actor and Estrada - Singer .

His best known songs included Тёмная ночь ( Dark Night , 1943), Я люблю тебя, жизнь ( I love you, life , 1956) and Журавли ( Cranes , 1969).

Awards

Bernes received the Stalin Prize in 1951 for his services and was awarded the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1965. The asteroid of the inner main belt (3038) Bernes is named after him.
