Klaus Gernhuber
Klaus Gernhuber (* 1929 in Königsberg i. Pr. ) Is a German jazz musician ( double bass ).
Gernhuber played in the 1950s in the jazz combo from Helmut Brandt , with whom he also on the 1955 German Jazz Festival occurred; when Brandt switched to the RIAS dance orchestra in Berlin in 1959, he continued to lead the band. He also played in the bar trio of Walter Pons (* 1921), with whom he performed for many years at the Hotel Frankfurter Hof . He made seven recordings with both groups between 1955 and 1959.
