Klaus Huebner (born December 18, 1949 ) is a former German football player in defense and midfield . He played for BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

Hübner played for TSG Luckenwalde until 1970. Then he was hired by BSG Energie Cottbus. In his first season 1970/71 he was used nine times, where he was substituted on seven times. In 1971/72 Hübner played 13 times for Cottbus and also scored two goals. In the following season he was not part of the regular staff and only played seven games. Nevertheless, he rose to the GDR league after the 1973 season. There Hübner made his debut on January 26, 1974, when he was in the starting line-up on matchday 14 in a 0-0 draw against FC Karl-Marx-Stadt . He came to a total of ten missions. Nothing is known about his time after 1975. From 1984 to 1989 he worked as a player coach at SG Glinzig.
