Klaus Hagen

Klaus Hagen (born in the 20th century ) is a former German hockey player .

Career

Klaus Hagen comes from Berlin. Since he was interested in hockey from his youth, he became a member of the Berlin HC, which was one of the leading German hockey clubs at the time . He was soon one of the top performers of his club and was therefore used in both field hockey and indoor hockey in the respective first teams. With his club he was German champion several times in both field and indoor hockey. In field hockey, this happened four times, namely in 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1965. In indoor hockey, with the Berliner HC, he won three German championships in 1962, 1963 and 1965.

For winning the German field hockey championship in 1963 for the fifth time, Federal President Heinrich Lübke signed the Berlin team with Wolfgang End , Jürgen Jacobsen , Bordhard Pohl , Heinz Hapke , Dagobert Schachner , Carsten Keller , Klaus Greinert , Balduin Schindler , Rolf Knorr , Klaus Kemmer , Fritz Bartels , Bernd Wunderlich , Rainer Jacobsen and Klaus Hagen on December 24th, 1963 with the silver bay leaf.
