Rolf Knorr

Rolf Knorr (born April 30, 1929 in Berlin ; † April 16, 2015 there ) was a German hockey player .

biography

Although he was also an avid tennis player, Knorr was primarily involved in hockey, which he practiced in the Berlin Hockey Club . He was a member of this club from the age of 9 for 76 years until his death. As a player in the first team of his club, he was with his club five times German champion in 1961, 1962 and 1963 in field hockey and 1962 and 1963 in indoor hockey.

On December 24, 1963, he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf by the Federal President for his sporting achievements .
