Klaus Hutterer

Klaus Hutterer (born April 27, 1942 in Amstetten ; † October 8, 2018 in Bruck an der Mur ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and technician. Hutterer was a member of the National Council from 1987 to 1990 .

Life

After elementary school, Hutterer attended the federal high school in Amstetten. After graduating from high school, he studied at the Montan University Leoben and completed his basic studies in 1968 with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. from. In 1975 he received his doctorate. Hutterer worked for the Böhler company from 1968 and was promoted to head of department in 1972.

From 1973 Hutterer was a member of the SPÖ-Kapfenberg city party leadership and was elected to the city council in 1975. He was also active as the exempt works council chairman at Böhler Kapfenberg from 1977 and from 1979 acted as a chamber councilor of the Styrian Chamber of Labor and Employees. In addition, he was chairman of the socialist faction of the Styrian Private Employees Union and from 1986 chairman of this union. Hutterer represented the SPÖ between December 17, 1987 and November 4, 1990 in the National Council.
