Klaus Lantermann (born August 6, 1933 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German politician of the FDP .

education and profession

Klaus Lantermann attended secondary school and received the secondary school leaving certificate. He graduated from commercial college and graduated there in 1952. In the further course he made an industrial clerk apprenticeship and in 1955 the clerk examination. From 1955 to 1958 he worked as a financial accountant. In 1962 he received his business diploma from the Administration and Business Academy in Oberhausen; later he was a recognized business economist (VWA). From 1958 to 1968 he worked as a human resources and social clerk. From 1969 to 1972 he was works manager (Stadtwerksdirektor) of a municipal company and since 1972, after the conversion of the company into a corporation, managing director of this company.

politics

Klaus Lantermann has been a member of the FDP since 1962. From 1962 to 1970 he held various board positions in the Wesel regional association, the Rees regional association and the Niederrhein regional association. In 1970 he became chairman of the Rees district association and then the Wesel district association. From 1972 to 1974 he was chairman of the Niederrhein district association, from 1972 a member of the state board of the FDP in North Rhine-Westphalia and since 1974 deputy chairman of the Niederrhein district association. Lantermann was also a member of the state main committee and a delegate to the state party congress and the federal party congress. From 1964 to 1968 he was a member of the Wesel City Council and from January 1975 to May 1975 a member of the Advisory Board of the Wesel District.

Lantermann became a member of the public services, transport and traffic union in 1969. He acted as an honorary assessor in the examination chamber for conscientious objectors at Defense Division III and honorary social judge at the Duisburg Social Court.

Klaus Lantermann was a member of the 8th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 28, 1975 to May 28, 1980, which he entered via the state list.
