Klaus Otto

Klaus Otto ( 1939 - 1978 ) was one of the most successful jockey of the German Democratic Republic .

Career

Klaus Otto was inspired by his father Georg Otto for equestrian sport. In 1957 he trained as a jockey in Magdeburg-Herrenkrug . A large part of its further development took place in Boxberg . His successes include, among other things, the four-time victory in the “Grand Prix for three-year-olds”. His name also appeared regularly among the top jockeys at the Hoppegarten horse racing tracks in Berlin , on the routes in Leipzig , Dresden and Magdeburg .
