Klaus Pipke

Klaus Pipke (born August 31, 1964 in Troisdorf ) is a German local politician ( CDU ) and has been the mayor of Hennef (Sieg) since September 2004 .

Youth and education

Pipke attended today's rainbow school in Hennef Nord-Ost. After attending secondary school in Hennef for two years, he switched to secondary school in Siegburg . He then did his Abitur at the Hennef grammar school .

After completing his military service in Koblenz, Pipke began studying law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn in 1985 . In 1990 he passed his first state examination and, after his legal traineeship in 1994, the second state examination in law.

Professional background

From 1993 to 1995, Pipke was a research assistant in the CDU parliamentary group in Düsseldorf . In 1995 he became the personal assistant to the mayor of Siegburg. From 1999 to 2000 Pipke was the department head for general administration and finance at the city of Siegburg, from 2000 to 2004 he was an alderman there . Klaus Pipke has been mayor of Hennef since September 2004 . On August 31, 2009 , Pipke was confirmed in office with 64.7% of the votes cast; in 2014 it was 53.1%.

politics

In 1989 Pipke became a member of the Hennef City Council. From 1994 to 2005 he was chairman of the CDU city association in Hennef. From 1999 to 2004 he was also parliamentary group leader of the CDU in the city council of Hennef.

In 1998, Pipke became a member of the board of the CDU district association Rhein-Sieg. Since 2002 he has held the office of district treasurer there .
