The Klaus Synagogue in Halberstadt , the district capital of the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), was built in the mid-19th century in Rosenwinkel 18th The synagogue with the Lehrhaus, known as Klaus , is a protected cultural monument in Rosenwinkel 18.

The previous building, built around 1700, was demolished in the middle of the 19th century due to its dilapidation. The new building was financed by the Hirsch family, based in Halberstadt.

Todays use

Today the synagogue building is the seat of the Moses Mendelssohn Academy .
