Bran puke

Kleiekotzer (also Mühlgötze, Mühlgosche or fright head called) were in old flour mills part of the bag box . This case took on the product from the milling operation fell and the Rüttelbeutel was headed. This simple sieving separated the flour from the bran , which was then excreted from the wood-carved bran puke. The often artistically carved, mostly grimaceous faces with open mouths were also the guardian spirits of the mills .
